When this story first appeared, I predicted that the “hooded woman who had performed arcane rituals” so as to bewitch Prince Valiant, would turn out to be the sorceress Maldubh, wife of the would-be ruler of Camelot, Draco, whom Valiant dispatched in a story from 2011. I was wrong.
