Ignoring Prince Valiant's command to "Stay your men," the steward of Lockbramble, Sir Roger Runetyne, orders his men to attack Val, Sir Gawain, and Rhoda Red Hood. The peasants of the unhappy land of Lockbramble, however, rush to the trio's aid.
